Synopsis: The 101st Proposal aka ‘My Perfect Girl’ stars Lee Moon-Shik as Dal-Jae, one of those old bachelors who can’t seem to get a wife no matter how many 맞선 (marriage meetings) they attend. I mean, he’s got it all: he’s good loo… OK, not really. But, hey, he’s rich… at least inside. And despite his heavy Jeolla Province dialect, he certainly has many charms, it’s just that he’s too damn picky (or is it the other way around?)! But all of a sudden he finds his perfect girl, a 29 year old announcer (Park Sun-Young) who will rock his world. Man, I bet her parents will love her new conquest. Story has been done to death, but this being a Weekend Drama (more time to develop characters, less incentive to use educational ‘shocking revelations’ to make viewers practice new swear words) and having such a good cast, we might be dealing with the closest thing to MBC’s glorious mid-to-late 90s Weekend Dramas like 아파트 (Apartment) or (Roses & Beansprouts) in a while. Shows which took a predictable formula and just let the cast act it out for an enjoyable 50 to 60 Episodes.

In A Love to Kill, Bi (Rain or Jeong Ji Hoon) plays a tough guy as the role of a K-1 Fighter, Kang Bok Gu. Bok Gu is a character who is dynamic in nature and grew up in a foster home. He falls in love with a woman whom he should not love. It was because of the woman, his emotionally-wounded brother fell off from the rooftop and became a human vegetable. So, his love is forbidden and inevitably tragic.

The woman is Cha Eun Seok (Shin Mina) who is a TV talent and movie actor. It was not that she jilted his brother on purpose, but upon a basis of misunderstanding, his hatred toward Cha Eun Seok grows more and more burning.

By becoming Cha Eun Seok’s private bodyguard, Bok Gu keeps concretely practicing his revenge upon her. He only desires ‘to bring his brother’s woman to her knees.’ He is gradually taking Cha Eun Seok to destruction, while he feels his love toward her growing deeper and deeper in his heart.

Meski Anda telah siap bahkan menantikannya, membawa perubahan besar bagi wanita, baik secara fisik maupun mental. Emosi yang naik turun adalah salah satu dampaknya. Bagi beberapa ibu, bukan tak mungkin emosi yang geraknya seperti roller coaster ini terus berlanjut hingga beberapa bulan setelah melahirkan, menjadi depresi menetap. Berikut wawancara dengan Dr Alfiben, Sp OG dari RS Hermina Depok. 

Bagi pasangan yang tengah menanti buah hati, kabar kehamilan 

saat paling menggembirakan. Namun di sisi lain calon ayah-ibu pun 

menyadari tak lama lagi akan dihadapkan pada keadaan dimana harus membuat berbagai keputusan dan perencanaan. Misal, memilih dokter dan rumah sakit, komitmen pada pekerjaan, kehamilan, mengambil peranan sebagai orangtua, begitu bayi lahir apakah akan diberi ASI Ekslusif, bagaimana mendapatkan pengasuh, dll. 

Berbagai tantangan tanpa disadari dapat mempengaruhi dan membawa ibu ke dalam situasi yang dikenal sebagai Post Natal Illnesses (PNI). Perasaan yang tak diharapkan ini bisa berefek juga pada pasangan. 

Perasaan Penuh Kesedihan

Pada umumnya, PNI dikategorikan sebagai bagian dari Depresi Umum, karena indikasinya sama, yaitu keadaan traumatik akibat perubahan dalam hidup - depresi umum bisa juga terjadi saat seseorang menghadapi perceraian, kehilangan pekerjaan, kematian kerabat, dll. Namun depresi yang terjadi pasca-melahirkan memiliki perbedaan dengan Depresi Umum, sbb: 

Pemicunya lebih spesifik, yaitu terjadinya perubahan dalam hidup akibat kelahiran bayi.

Juga dipengaruhi peningkatan hormonal di dalam tubuh ibu. 

Bisa melanda Ibu dan keluarganya dan menetap hingga 6 bulan - 1 tahun setelah kelahiran si kecil.

Ahli medis umumnya mengkategorikan PNI dalam tiga tingkatan, yaitu 'baby blues, Post Natal Depression (PND), dan Puerperal Psychosis (PP). Baby blues terjadi hingga 2-10 hari pasca melahirkan. Ciri khasnya ibu terus-menerus menangis tanpa alasan jelas, rasa lelah, konsentrasi rendah, sulit tidur, kekuatiran dan perasaan ragu yang datang mendadak, lambat dalam mempelajari sesuatu (misal, cara memandikan dan memberi bayi), tidak nafsu makan, over sensitif, dan lainnya. Namun yang utama adalah perasaan kecewa pada hampir segala hal.

Apabila Menjadi Serius

Baby Blues yang tak kunjung pulih akan berkembang menjadi kondisi ekstrim yang disebut puerperal psychosis (PP). Keadaan ini untungnya jarang dialami para ibu, karena umumnya terkena pada ibu dengan riwayat penyakit depresi dalam keluarga. Depresi mendalam ini terjadi selama lebih dari satu bulan ditandai mood yang berubah-ubah, halusinasi, juga kebingungan dan ketakutan tak beralasan, bahkan pada beberapa kasus, jika PP terjadi pada ibu yang lemah mental, bisa memotivasi ibu bertekad membunuh bayinya.

Diantara Dua Kategori

Kategori yang menjembatani kedua kategori depresi - baby blues dengan puerperal psychosis - adalah yang disebut PND. Beberapa penelitian memastikan PND bisa terjadi begitu persalinan atau 2-6 bulan kemudian. 10-20% ibu berpeluang mengalami depresi berkelanjutan ini, ditandai dengan menangis terus-menerus, kemarahan, ketidakmampuan memelihara bayi dan melakukan kegiatan rutin lainnya, kurang nafsu makan, kelelahan, dan insomnia.

Sayang, banyak ibu tidak menyadari dirinya tengah dilanda PND sehingga menyulitkan tenaga medis memberi bantuan. Banyak juga ibu 

mencoba menutupi perasaannya, dan menyembunyikan depresi lantaran khawatir dianggap berlebihan, dianggap tidak becus sebagai ibu, juga dicap mengidap "ketidakstabilan mental".

Penyebab dan Pengobatan

Menjadi orangtua kadang memang terasa seperti bencana, terutama jika ini pengalaman pertama. Banyak orang tidak siap saat menemukan dirinya tiba-tiba harus bertanggung jawab pada segala hal yang berhubungan dengan bayi kecil dan lemah yang harus diperhatikan 24 jam, 7 hari dalam seminggu. Situasi ini kadang juga dipengaruhi faktor sosial lain, misal, kesulitan ekonomi. 

Hormon juga kerap berpengaruh dalam PND. Kadar progesteron dan estrogen yang menurun tajam dibanding saat hamil akan membuat tubuh ibu shock<. Pasokan Endorphins dalam kadar rendah sekalipun, misal, pada obat-obatan penyaman tubuh setelah melahirkan, bisa ikut andil mencetus PND. Persoalan pribadi di dalam diri ibu, seperti ketakutan dirinya harus menjadi ibu yang sempurna dan melakukan semuanya dengan benar, juga kurangnya dukungan dari suami dan keluarga, juga berpeluang memperparah PND.

Namun sepanjang gejala ini dikomunikasikan pada ahli medis, PND sebetulnya dapat ditangani. Penanganan PND secara konvensional biasanya sama dengan yang diberikan dalam penanganan depresi umum, yaitu pemberian obat-obatan antidepresan dikombinasi dengan psikoterapi atau konseling. Namun penelitian baru-baru ini memperlihatkan terapi bicara, dalam berbagai kasus, adalah yang paling dibutuhkan untuk membantu ibu yang menderita PND.

Menjadi salah satu anggota grup pendukung (support group) akan sangat menolong, karena di sana para ibu bisa mengetahui bahwa ibu-ibu lain pun mempunyai pengalaman frustasi dan kesulitan hubungan yang sama. Penggunaan obat-obatan dengan terapi bicara adalah upaya terakhir yang bisa dilakukan dalam pengobatan PND. Selain itu, ada baiknya ibu juga mengkonsumsi makanan yang mengandung banyak nutrisi dan mendapat snack secara teratur. Masukkan juga olahraga dalam kegiatan rutin karena dapat menyegarkan dan membersihkan pikiran. Jika problemnya adalah kekurangan tidur, mintalah bantuan seseorang yang terpercaya untuk merawat bayi sehingga Anda bisa mengganti jatah tidur yang hilang. Kehadiran anak memang sangat menggembirakan bagi anggota keluarga. Begitupun bagi sang ibu. Tapi jangan salah ada juga, ibu yang justru stres saat si buah hati lahir. Malah dua pertiga ibu yang habis melahirkan mengalami depresi. Tak perduli apakah bayi yang dilahirkan itu anaka pertama atau anak ke tiga. Depresi paska melahirkan ini biasa disebut Baby Blues

Depresi ini biasanya dialami oleh ibu sangat berbeda. Ada yang dua hari atau seminggu setelah melahirkan bahkan ada juga yang berbulan-bulan. Memang depresi akibat Baby Blues ini umunya dialami oleh ibu yang habis melahirkan. Namun kondisi ini umumnya akan terus berlangsung sampai berhari-hari. 

Depresi ini diawali dengan perasaan cemas, bingung, kelelahan yang berkepanjangan, mudah menangis dan amat emosional. Tentu saja peran suami dalam hal ini sangat membantu kondisi yang dialami oleh si ibu. Karena hampir dua puluh empat jam setelah melahirkan, si ibu mengalami penurunan drastis produktivitas hormon-hormon yang berfungsi semasa kehamilan.Kondisi ini seringkali membuat si ibu berperasaan sangat melankolis, sentimental yang berlebihan. Belum lagi menghadapi tanggung jawab baru akan hadirnya seorang anak dalam kehidupan rumah tangganya

Depresi ini dapat berlangsung cukup lama , jika disebabkan oleh kesulitan dan pengalaman buruk menyesuaikan diri pada peran baru daripada disebabkan depresi produktivitas hormon. Memberi ketenangan bagi ibu yang mengalami depresi ini memang gampang-gampang susah. Ada kalanya kehadiran suami sudah bisa menentramkan jiwa si ibu. Paling tidak suami ikut ‘begadang’ pada saat malam si kecil bangun. Paling tidak, hal ini akan mengurangi kelelahan si ibu.

Tapi jika depresi yang dialami itu, ekstrim, makan perlu obat penenang, dan berkonsultasi bersama suami. Agar si ibu kembali sembuh. Namun biasanya depresi macam ini juga bisa sembuh dengan dukungan dan perhatian keluarga dan suami. Karena itu, tak ada salahnya jika , sesekali minta pertolongan anggota keluarga yang lain untuk mengurus si kecil. Karena, bagaimanapun seorang ibu yang baru melahirkan perlu waktu untuk diri sendiri, agar lebih rasional dan tidak terlalu emosional. (ida)

Tabloid Ibu & Anak - Kehamilan merupakan masa-masa yang membahagiakan. Namun tidak selalu untuk beberapa perempuan. Sedikitnya 10% ibu hamil menderita baby blues alias perasaan murung pada masa kehamilan dan setelah kelahiran. Tapi, sebenarnya, bukan tertekan atau depresi yang sesungguhnya. 

Suasana hati ibu hamil kerap berubah-ubah. Sekarang mengalami kesedihan, sesaat kemudian berganti perasaan murung, atau berganti dengan perasaan letih yang membuat hati kesal. Suasana hati yang berubah-ubah ini biasanya dialami ibu yang mengalami ketidakstabilan emosi menjelang menstruasi. Karena itu, umumnya perasaan depresi dialami pada trimester pertama. Yakni setelah kehamilan dinyatakan positif, meski kehamilan tersebut direncanakan. Ada juga beberapa faktor lainnya yang memicu munculnya depresi. Dan jika berlebihan, tentu berbahaya bagi janin. Ternyata, depresi ini tak hanya dialami para ibu, lho. Ayah pun kadang mengalaminya. Benarkah? Bagaimana mengatasinya? 

Mengapa bisa muncul baby blues?

Jika bukan karena kondisi umum menjelang menstruasi, hormon kehamilan pun bisa jadi penyebabnya. Serangan hormon pada bulan-bulan pertama ini mempengaruhi emosi ibu. Namun faktor lain juga bisa menyebabkan tekanan pada ibu. 

Riwayat depresi keluarga. Ibu, nenek, atau saudara Anda punya riwayat depresi ketika hamil. Hal itu bisa mensugesti Anda untuk mengalami depresi juga.

Beberapa tekanan dapat memicu munculnya depresi, misalnya keinginan untuk pindah ke rumah lebih besar karena ada tambahan anggota keluarga; masalah di tempat kerja; perubahan besar lain seperti perceraian di saat Anda hamil, Anda atau pasangan terkena PHK; kematian keluarga atau teman terdekat.

Kehamilan Anda bermasalah. Misalnya, Anda harus bed rest (bagaimanapun ini membuat stres); hasil tes atau proses tes kehamilan yang menakutkan seperti tes genetika, dsb.

Punya riwayat kesulitan hamil atau riwayat keguguran.

Pernah mengalami tindakan kekerasan, seperti pasangan suka abuse (melakukan kekerasan). Ini bagi perempuan dampak emosionalnya kerap menetap lama.

Tanda-tanda mengalami depresi

Anda akan merasa menderita baby blues lalu berubah menjadi depresi jika merasakan beberapa gejala ini: kesulitan berkonsentrasi; terus-menerus merasa cemas, mudah marah, problem sulit tidur, sakit kepala (vertigo) terus-menerus, berhasrat untuk makan terus atau tak mau makan. Kegembiraan berlebihan atau kemurungan berlebihan.

Para calon ayah pun konon bisa mengalaminya. Benarkah? 

Seperti ibu, ayah pun mengalami hal yang sama terutama setelah kelahiran putranya. Sebuah penelitian pada 1981 di Amerika menunjukkan 62% ayah mengalami depresi selama bulan-bulan pertama kelahiran bayinya. Ini merupakan bukti bahwa depresi tidak selalu karena perubahan hormon.

Pencetusnya, umumnya bermuara dari kekhawatiran para calon ayah ketika mengetahui bahwa ada makhluk hidup di rahim pasangannya. Para ayah tidak bisa menghindari pertanyaan, siapkah ia menjadi ayah? Mampukah membesarkan si kecil? Juga rasa cemas akan proses kehamilan-persalinan dapat mencelakakan istri atau bayinya. Para ayah juga punya ketakutan kalau perhatian istrinya akan tersedot oleh si kecil. Begitu pula jika si kecil menangis terus-menerus dapat membuat sang ayah tertekan lantaran merasa tak mampu melakukan apa pun. 

Bagaimana melepaskan ibu-ayah dari tekanan tersebut?

Ibu maupun ayah membutuhkan dorongan, perhatian dan empati, baik dari pasangan, teman dekat maupun keluarga. Hal-hal lainnya:

Bersikap santai. Beberapa kegiatan positif dapat Anda lakukan untuk menyambut kedatangan bayi, misalnya, merencanakan desain kamar anak, membersihkan rumah, bekerja seperti biasa, baca buku, sarapan di tempat tidur, atau jalan-jalan ke luar maupun berbagi kebahagiaan dengan teman dan tetangga. Buat para ayah, ngobrollah dengan sesama pria bagaimana pengalaman menjadi ayah.

Berbagi kecemasan. Jagalah komunikasi antara Anda dan pasangan. Katakan dengan jelas bahwa Anda membutuhkan dukungannya, dan jika pasangan mengalami hal yang sama, Anda harus saling mendukung. Selain itu, temui teman dekat untuk berbagi kecemasan yang Anda rasakan. 

Jika Anda merasakan kecemasan luar biasa, temui dokter dan katakan perasaan Anda. Ia dapat memberikan nasihat ke mana atau siapa yang harus Anda temui untuk konsultasi.

Sekitar 50% ibu yang mengalami depresi cenderung berkembang depresinya setelah melahirkan. Namun, terapi psikiater dapat membantu mengurangi perasaan tersebut.

Lakukan pijatan. Pijatan dari pasangan (boleh juga pemijat tradisional) dapat melancarkan peredaran darah dan mengurangi sakit kepala serta tekanan Anda. b Dew
